What if it turns out “The Book” is actually our real world medium that we use to write fanfiction and stories about the characters and thus it not only validates all our fanfics but also confirms that its not an ability and the reason it completely alters their realityis because they are merely characters in our stories so we dictate their thoughts, actions, memories, etc
Ofc this works on everyone but Dazai bc when he swaps realities the book can’t replace his memories of the old one with the new one bc his ability nullifies it
